Eligible employees receive 12 sick days to use throughout the calendar year. No leave is accrued and leave is available immediately on hire. Sick leave may be used by the employee at their discretion for medical related reasons (including mental health).

Upon termination of the individual’s employment at the company, the employee will not be paid for any unused sick leave for which they were eligible.

The company pays for Short-term Disability Insurance through MetLife. Employees may file a claim at any time and does not require approval by a team member.

You can learn about the policy on this page, where you can also file a claim. The maximum covered leave length is 26 weeks.

Short-term Leave

Employees are eligible for up to 12-weeks of unpaid short term medical leave. Longer leave will be addressed on a case-by-case basis.

Employees in NY and WA are entitled to the state's benefits and apply for it directly through the state.

Employees can opt-in to a long-term disability policy via Justworks (i.e., Voluntary Long-term disability).
